What an incredible shoot it was with Keira & Tegan. So much love and laughter. The light was beautiful as the sun headed towards the horizon on this hot summer evening. I feel so fortunate when I get to photograph the raw and vibrant love that exists between a parent and child. I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance. The stunning couple got married under skies of endless blue. Half the wedding party travelled from the other side of the world to be here on this special day. What a blast it was. When I arrived at this shoot I was feeling ill and little Violet had skipped her nap so there was concern that things may not run very smoothly. In the end, we both made it through and I am in love with the images that Violet created 😉 She was not her usual smiley self but she was content so the images that resulted have a neat introspective feel to them. We just got back from a GORGEOUS wedding in Naramata. I was really excited to have Anna back shooting with me for the wedding as her law studies have kept her from shooting so far this year and I’ve been missing her energy and great eye.
