What a beautiful day it is was for Leanne & Taylor’s wedding! While I tend to fall in love with all my clients, L&T kicked it up a notch by keeping me in stitches all day long. My stomach and face hurt at the end of the day from all the laughing. Thank you so much, Leanne and Taylor, for having us there on your most amazing day. Thanks, Shealyn, for capturing the day with me! The beautiful ceremony and reception were held at the Westin at Bear Mountain and the wedding party photos were taken at the historical Fort Rodd Hill.

I had contacted Alice at the Base Lounge to see if I could rent their gorgeous space for a photo shoot. We worked out the details and Alice asked if I would photograph her family when I was done with the first shoot. Alice is lovely and radiates health and well-being. I was excited about the opportunity to meet and photograph her family. On the day, the natural light poured in and the family magic began 😉

Eric and Melissa got married at the stunning Bear Mountain Resort. Getting married on a golf course held extra significance for the couple as Eric is a pro golfer and the two met on a golf course 😉 The day went smooth as silk with tons of laughter and joy. They definitely win the best reception of the year award. Eric, Melissa and their wedding party surprised their guests with an AWESOME choreographed dance number. I want to start with a great big thanks to Atomique for putting on such great shows and making the Victoria music scene what it is. I went down to the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre last night to photograph the Metric show. It was great to finally see them live (well, the first three songs anyway). I met up with Stephanie & Blake at the Roundhouse a couple weeks ago for a wedding portrait session. It was evident right away that in marrying each other, they were marrying their best friend.
