I totally adore shooting children and families. The love and playfulness is so inspiring and I always feel so privileged to be there capturing it “on film”. I have to admit this is one of my favorite families as the boys are sweet and stunning and their obvious love for each other is so stinkin’ adorable! I went down and photographed Jon & Roy’s CD Release Party show for their new album “Homes“. The MacPherson Playhouse was packed and the show rocked the house. Everyone was on their feet at the end of the show begging for more. Vince Vaccaro and Mother Mother opened for Jon & Roy. I gotta say…those three bands in one show make Keri a very happy girl 😉
This is my first attempt at stop motion photography. It was a blast and I’m already plotting our next adventure. It’s all a learning process but I thought I’d share the journey with you!

The last two months have been such an incredibly wonderful and horrid journey. On May.3rd, I woke up in the middle of the night and the world was spinning (imagine drunk spins but times it by a thousand). Honestly, I thought I was dying from a brain aneurysm. It felt that wrong. I couldn’t stop throwing up. I called my parents to take me to the hospital so Gene could stay home with Ella. When we got to the hospital, the doctor said it was an inner-ear infection and, since it was viral, I just had to wait it out….
I was immediately intrigued when I got a fantastic call from a man named Andrew. He wanted me to go stealth and photograph him proposing to his beautiful (unsuspecting) girlfriend. After the proposal I would come out of hiding to do a photo shoot for a couple hours. He is super romantic and he wanted an over-the-top amazing place for it all to happen. I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance. They were a little over-concerned about burning their name into our brains but they were fairly clever and funny about it which made it forgivable. There…
