I love doing headshot portraits outside in natural light. I find the variety in backgrounds is far more interesting than what I have in the studio. All of these images were created within a one block radius but result in lots of different options to choose from.
Just after we bought our big old creaky heritage house, I was walking down the sidewalk behind two boys of about 7 and I heard one say to the other “there’s the haunted house” in reference to our dear old home. Rifflandia has done it once again 😉 What an incredible week of awesome shows. I am continually blown away by what a brilliant idea this festival is. 150 some bands, four nights, and one wristband. All for the love of music. Thanks to the organizers for masterminding this extravaganza. This year, I was asked to put together a crew of official photographers so that there would be a photographer stationed at each of the 10 venues every night. I couldn’t of asked for a better team. I have a confession to make. I love them all best of all. They are all my favorites. I can’t help it. All the babies and children that come to me to get photographed are perfect in their own amazing, individual ways. I can’t help but fall in love with each and every one that walks through the studio doors. William is my favorite because he reminds me of Superman 😉
While I don’t support all the wars that have been waged, I will forever support those who have had their lives irreparably altered due to war whether that has been through serving their country or living amongst the chaos of war. Lest we forget: peace is possible.
I first heard of Eva through a friend of mine that directed me toward her blog. Eva documented her battle with cystic fibrosis with such heart and such grace that the world fell in love with her. Eva touched so many people and brought such energy and determination to the fight against CF that support has proliferated since her courageous battle came to an end last March.
