    I pulled an old Remington from my typewriter collection for this special session. Baby Nathan’s great-grandmother was a published poet and she always did her writing on a typewriter. Nathan’s mom has lots of memories of playing away and learning how to type at her grandmother’s. Sadly, while Nathan was still in his mama’s belly, his great-grandmother passed away. We thought this shoot would make a fitting tribute to her.

    Here are a few magical moments from Stephanie & Brian’s wedding day. I cannot express in words the gratitude and warmth that I feel for this couple. Stephanie & Brian first met with me and subsequently hired me while I was still dealing with my inner ear issues and vertigo.     What an amazing weekend at Rock The Shores! Blue skies, rocking band lineup, incredible crowds; I adore my job so much. I am loving that festivals like Rock the Shores and Rifflandia are bringing bigger names to town. Some of the bands that performed this weekend were Weezer, City and Colour, Sam Roberts, The Sheepdogs, Mother Mother, Awolnation (who rocked my little world), Reignwolf (who’s show I sadly missed but heard excited exclamations about for the rest of the festival), and our home boy Vince Vaccaro.   • It runs in the family.

    I had a shoot last year around this time with Dr.S the dentist who worked it for the camera (he definitley picked up some tips from Tyra when his daughter was watching ANTM).  Some people just have that camera zen, that ease with themselves that makes for spectacular images. I can vouch that this family has that quality in at least two of its generations. Dean gave his daughter Taryl a gift certficate for a portrait session and here is how the gorgeous girl rocked it:

    Tracy & Jonathon’s wedding was a stunning event held at the Olympic View Golf Course. The course gave the gift of incredible backdrops and we zipped down to Whitty’s Lagoon to get some ocean shots as well. Tracy and Jonathon are just a dream to work with and they have raised one of the most amazing young ladies I have ever met. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your wedding day T & J!
