Victoria is oozing with musical talent at the moment, thanks to Rifflandia! Â www.rifflandia.com I totally adore watching people do what they are passionate about. There is something so magical about capturing a person in their element. You realize how much work and love and time they have dedicated to it and they just glow with greatness. They look that way to me anyway. Tonight involved me thinking that I had seen the wickedest band time and time again. What I mean by that is”wow, what an awesome band! I have to tell everyone about them! oh no wait, this is…
Leah & Andy are an exceptional couple that totally stole my heart. They had a beautiful wedding in the orchard of St.Ann’s a few weeks ago and I thought I’d give them a little extra surprise with their wedding photography. Here it is:

On my way home from the cob building workshop on Salt Spring Island, Ella and I took a detour to Sacred Mountain Lavender Farm. Sadly, we were missing the lavender festival by two days but I thought we should still take the opportunity to go by the farm. It was soooooooo worth it. The lavender was GORGEOUS! Oh, the heavenly smell! The farm is a fabulous working demonstration farm where they encourage you to get in there and experience it. I think it is so important these days, with the prevalence of the disconnect between our plates and the farmers,…
These are two storyboards that I put together for my dear friends Meg & Sean. Congratulations on your perfect son. I love you guys!! xoxo
I had contacted Alice at the Base Lounge to see if I could rent their gorgeous space for a photo shoot. We worked out the details and Alice asked if I would photograph her family when I was done with the first shoot. Alice is lovely and radiates health and well-being. I was excited about the opportunity to meet and photograph her family. On the day, the natural light poured in and the family magic began 😉
