How is this much cuteness even possible? Abdu totally stole my heart. We had a fantastic shoot at Cordova Bay Beach. Lots of fun was had by all. This family has an ease and grace about them that is so inspirational. They were oozing with love and respect for each other. It was a privilege to spend the afternoon with them.

Ani Difranco came to town and played a fantastic show on Wednesday. She is such a brilliant musician, but more than that, she is a brilliant woman. I’ve listened to her music for close to a decade now and she always manages to stay relevant. She’s a strong social and political activist who is not afraid to step out of the crowd to stand up for what she believes in. After last night’s incredible shows it was hard to imagine how tonight could keep up. I needn’t of worried. I started at the Alix Goolden Hall to catch Tegan and Sara.
