    I had a couple incredibly brilliant work trips this year: a ship tour with Greenpeace and a trip to Paris to cover the UN Climate Conference. In contrast to some years past, it was a fairly uplifting year to be doing environmental work in Canada (Shell pulled out of the Arctic, Canada got a new government, Northern Gateway was killed, and the Paris Climate talks are being lauded by most as a success).   • A stitch in time.

    This was a really fun and dear shoot for me. Brianna’s grandmother is an incredibly talented knitter and has made gorgeous sweaters for all the new arrivals in her and her daughters’ lives over the last many years. I was so touched to receive one when my Ella was born. Hand-made gifts are always the most precious and I think of the creators everytime I use them.   • Heartbreakers

    This was a really fun shoot. The old motorcycle that Graden is riding used to be ridden by his father 32 years ago. With that in mind I went with a a bit of a vintage look on a lot of the photos. Graden sure is a looker, especially with that little page boy cap. So cute! The last few frames are of his adorable cousin 😉
