Organic Islands Festival
It was a fabulous weekend at Organic Islands Festival. There are always lots of great vendors that support and inspire sustainability. The reason I love the festival the most is the incredible speakers that come to share their wealth of knowledge. Percy Schmeiser was the highlight for me at the Festival in 2008. His story is one to know. He is fighting a battle on our behalf. A battle that’s final outcome will not directly effect his life, but it will effect ours. He is devoting his time, money, life energy and integrity to protect our right to save seeds and…
A little bit of cuteness for Sunday morning
Thought everyone could do with a little bit of cuteness this morning. This family is close to my heart and it was such a joy to photograph them with their latest addition. The Daddy/Daughter photos always make my heart melt. Another thing I love? Baby leg pudge 😉

Nathan’s mom has lots of memories of playing away and learning how to type at her grandmother’s. Sadly, while Nathan was still in his mama’s belly, his great-grandmother passed away. We thought this shoot would make a fitting tribute to her.

Eva touched so many people and brought such energy and determination to the fight against CF that support has proliferated since her courageous battle came to an end last March. I attended a benefit concert on Feb.13th that was in honour of Eva. Many of the bands that performed had a personal connection with Eva which made the event extra moving. When I…
Magical moments.
Here are a few magical moments from Stephanie & Brian’s wedding day. I cannot express in words the gratitude and warmth that I feel for this couple. Stephanie & Brian first met with me and subsequently hired me while I was still dealing with my inner ear issues and vertigo. Even though their wedding was a few months away I had no idea whether I would be healthy for it (I am still so jubilant and grateful that I am healed!). When they said they wanted to book me I replied that I totally appreciated their support and confidence but…

My brother, his wife and their 7 month old son Graden live in Singapore which means that their current visit home to Canada marks my first introduction to the CUTEST little boy in the world. He looks like cabbage patch kid. If you don’t believe me…check it out:
