The exceedingly lovely Violet

When I arrived at this shoot I was feeling ill and little Violet had skipped her nap so there was concern that things may not run very smoothly. In the end, we both made it through and I am in love with the images that Violet created 😉 She was not her usual smiley self but she was content so the images that resulted have a neat introspective feel to them. Thank you once again, Violet, for making my day brighter. She has a habit of doing that. You can check out another day she made my day brighter here. Is she not the most precious beauty ever?

  • Falling in love with BC all over again.

    I have spent many moons traveling the globe and I regularly fall in love with different lands but BC will always be my first and strongest love.     What an amazing weekend at Rock The Shores! Blue skies, rocking band lineup, incredible crowds; I adore my job so much. I am loving that festivals like Rock the Shores and Rifflandia are bringing bigger names to town. Some of the bands that performed this weekend were Weezer, City and Colour, Sam Roberts, The Sheepdogs, Mother Mother, Awolnation (who rocked my little world), Reignwolf (who’s show I sadly missed but heard excited exclamations about for the rest of the festival), and our home boy Vince Vaccaro.   • ANTI-POP CONSORTIUM

    I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance.
