Studio 16 1/2-the Premier Portrait Project: a part of “The Art of Voting”
Just wanted to let you know about another show coming up. As part of Studio 16 1/2’s Premier Portrait Project, I did a rendition of Harlan Carey Brewster (the premier who, among other things, brought in women’s suffrage and prohibition in 1917). The show runs from May.2nd, 2009 – May. 31, 2009 with the opening on May.2nd at 8pm. Come check it out! The gallery space is very cool and I was super impressed with the pieces that I had a peek at when I dropped mine off. More information at: http://fantanstudios.com/

Club Kwench – An evening with The Jealous Curator
Tessa McLoughlin is a local hero of mine. She possesses not only exceptional vision in regards to arts and community but also the follow through to turn that vision into reality. Last night’s inaugural Club Kwench dinner was a prime example. Club Kwench grew out of Tessa’s belief that happiness comes from many angles and that it is not readymade. “It comes from your own actions. Kwench makes those actions easier by providing you with experiences that encourage and cultivate connection, curiosity, and cooperation.” Last night was a brilliant evening of connection, inspiration, laughter, nourishment, and creativity, which all led…
Engagement Session
Tracy and Jonathon are a lovely couple that are getting married this coming May. I am really excited about photographing their big day. We just got together to shoot their engagement session down at Cattle Point. The day was REALLY windy and cold but we stuck it out and got some great images. Here are some from the adventure:
Tracy & Jonathon- Victoria, BC Wedding Photo Gallery by Keri Coles Photography
Tracy & Jonathon’s wedding was a stunning event held at the Olympic View Golf Course. The course gave the gift of incredible backdrops and we zipped down to Whitty’s Lagoon to get some ocean shots as well. Tracy and Jonathon are just a dream to work with and they have raised one of the most amazing young ladies I have ever met. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your wedding day T & J!
Rifflandia
Rifflandia has done it once again 😉 What an incredible week of awesome shows. I am continually blown away by what a brilliant idea this festival is. 150 some bands, four nights, and one wristband. All for the love of music. Thanks to the organizers for masterminding this extravaganza. This year, I was asked to put together a crew of official photographers so that there would be a photographer stationed at each of the 10 venues every night. I couldn’t of asked for a better team. You can check out everyone’s photos in the gallery on the Rifflandia site here….
