Tracy and Jonathon are a lovely couple that are getting married this coming May. I am really excited about photographing their big day. We just got together to shoot their engagement session down at Cattle Point. The day was REALLY windy and cold but we stuck it out and got some great images. Here are some from the adventure:
I had a couple incredibly brilliant work trips this year: a ship tour with Greenpeace and a trip to Paris to cover the UN Climate Conference. In contrast to some years past, it was a fairly uplifting year to be doing environmental work in Canada (Shell pulled out of the Arctic, Canada got a new government, Northern Gateway was killed, and the Paris Climate talks are being lauded by most as a success). Last night in Vic, DJ Champion and his G-Strings took the stage at Sugar. It is impossible for my words to do justice to the killer performance they gave. If they ever stop in your town, GO SEE THEM! They are what live shows are all about. The incredible energy they brought to the stage was infectious and the packed crowd couldn’t get enough. DJ Champion does fabulous builds that take you from a toe tappin’ head bob to a thumping, jumping, super-happy dance. You can’t help it. It just happens.
