The exceedingly lovely Violet

When I arrived at this shoot I was feeling ill and little Violet had skipped her nap so there was concern that things may not run very smoothly. In the end, we both made it through and I am in love with the images that Violet created 😉 She was not her usual smiley self but she was content so the images that resulted have a neat introspective feel to them. Thank you once again, Violet, for making my day brighter. She has a habit of doing that. You can check out another day she made my day brighter here. Is she not the most precious beauty ever?

    Ice Watch Paris. Jet lag had me wandering the streets of Paris last night in the wee hours of the morning.   • Rifflandia

    Rifflandia has done it once again 😉 What an incredible week of awesome shows. I am continually blown away by what a brilliant idea this festival is. 150 some bands, four nights, and one wristband. All for the love of music. Thanks to the organizers for masterminding this extravaganza. This year, I was asked to put together a crew of official photographers so that there would be a photographer stationed at each of the 10 venues every night. I couldn’t of asked for a better team.   • It runs in the family.

    I had a shoot last year around this time with Dr.S the dentist who worked it for the camera (he definitley picked up some tips from Tyra when his daughter was watching ANTM).  Some people just have that camera zen, that ease with themselves that makes for spectacular images. I can vouch that this family has that quality in at least two of its generations. Dean gave his daughter Taryl a gift certficate for a portrait session and here is how the gorgeous girl rocked it:

    I have a confession to make. I love them all best of all. They are all my favorites. I can’t help it. All the babies and children that come to me to get photographed are perfect in their own amazing, individual ways. I can’t help but fall in love with each and every one that walks through the studio doors. William is my favorite because he reminds me of Superman 😉
