I recently photographed Rob Kettner of Fernwood Coffee doing his magic. He was fine-tuning his skills and delivery for the Canadian Barista Championship. Just after I did the shoot he went on to win said competition 😉 Way to go, Rob!!!

This was a really fun and dear shoot for me. Brianna’s grandmother is an incredibly talented knitter and has made gorgeous sweaters for all the new arrivals in her and her daughters’ lives over the last many years. I was so touched to receive one when my Ella was born. Hand-made gifts are always the most precious and I think of the creators everytime I use them. Lisa and Nathan’s wedding was such a perfect blend of elegance, sophistication, intimacy and serenity. They were married at Fairholme Manor which was an ideal location for their small, private wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and the interior of the heritage house is a photographer’s dream. I was in Vancouver on Tuesday and thought I’d stop by the track to say hi to a friend and to get some shots of the horses as training begins. Some of the horses were pretty wild getting back out there! I can’t wait to go back in April when the races start. So much fun! I really miss working with horses. It was nice to be around them again, even if it was watching them from afar 😉
Ice Watch Paris. Jet lag had me wandering the streets of Paris last night in the wee hours of the morning. I had heard rumors of an Arctic ice installation somewhere in Paris but I wasn’t sure where it was. As I rounded the corner to Place du Panthéon I almost started to cry.
