While I don’t support all the wars that have been waged, I will forever support those who have had their lives irreparably altered due to war whether that has been through serving their country or living amongst the chaos of war. Lest we forget: peace is possible.

A moving celebration of life was held at Thunderbird to honour his life and accomplishments. Everyone’s eyes were misty when the riderless horse came into the ring, led by George’s grandson.   • Victoria, BC – Anti-Enbridge Rally

    A large anti-Enbridge rally against the Northern Gateway Pipeline happened in Victoria last Sunday. Hundreds turned out to the Legislature lawns before taking to the streets to march to Centennial Square. Once at the square, there was an afternoon full of workshops and panel discussions related to the environment, the energy sector, and effective ways to get involved in the debate.
