Mother Mother is one of my favorite bands to see live. They bring it every single time with loads of talent, 110% energy, and always with gratitude for the audience and show organizers. A winning combination. They also generously donate their time and talent to War Child when they are at Rifflandia. Without further ado, Mother Mother.
Wow. I am in love. Pemberton was the first camping music festival I’ve ever been to and it completely blew me away! So many great shows, such little time! With multiple stages running it was so hard to decide which of the incredible shows we were going to see. We ended up photographing and dancing to infinite talent and energy in the most gorgeous setting you could imagine. Rifflandia has done it once again 😉 What an incredible week of awesome shows. I am continually blown away by what a brilliant idea this festival is. 150 some bands, four nights, and one wristband. All for the love of music. Thanks to the organizers for masterminding this extravaganza. This year, I was asked to put together a crew of official photographers so that there would be a photographer stationed at each of the 10 venues every night. I couldn’t of asked for a better team. Tracy & Jonathon’s wedding was a stunning event held at the Olympic View Golf Course. The course gave the gift of incredible backdrops and we zipped down to Whitty’s Lagoon to get some ocean shots as well. Tracy and Jonathon are just a dream to work with and they have raised one of the most amazing young ladies I have ever met. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your wedding day T & J!
My trip to Bella Bella involved beautiful landscapes, good friends, small world run-ins, and fabulous boat rides. Thank you, Yoey, for being such a wonderful friend, host, and inspiration. It was so great seeing your place and all the incredibly beautiful work you have put into it. It is a little slice of heaven. Thought everyone could do with a little bit of cuteness this morning. This family is close to my heart and it was such a joy to photograph them with their latest addition. The Daddy/Daughter photos always make my heart melt. Another thing I love? Baby leg pudge 😉
I was pleasantly surprised to see Bif Naked up at the Prince Rupert rally. I had never seen her live before. She has a casual and intimate air about her that made it feel like she was playing for us in her living room. For someone that has had to face some major challenges in her life, it is apparent that she rolls with the punches and comes out smiling. I will definitely try to catch her show again.
