I have spent many moons traveling the globe and I regularly fall in love with different lands but BC will always be my first and strongest love. Nothing beats hanging out in an arbutus tree in a field full of camas, or laughing by a campfire on the edge of the ocean, or trekking for a spectacular view in the mountains, or swimming in a pristine lake miles down an old logging road. What a beautiful day it is was for Leanne & Taylor’s wedding! While I tend to fall in love with all my clients, L&T kicked it up a notch by keeping me in stitches all day long. I had a shoot last year around this time with Dr.S the dentist who worked it for the camera (he definitley picked up some tips from Tyra when his daughter was watching ANTM). Some people just have that camera zen, that ease with themselves that makes for spectacular images. I can vouch that this family has that quality in at least two of its generations. I first heard of Eva through a friend of mine that directed me toward her blog. Eva documented her battle with cystic fibrosis with such heart and such grace that the world fell in love with her. Eva touched so many people and brought such energy and determination to the fight against CF that support has proliferated since her courageous battle came to an end last March.
