While I don’t support all the wars that have been waged, I will forever support those who have had their lives irreparably altered due to war whether that has been through serving their country or living amongst the chaos of war. Lest we forget: peace is possible.
I just had a lovely pregnancy shoot with Fiona. She was gorgeous and radiant. I can’t wait to meet her little one! We already have plans to do the baby photo shoot. It is so neat being able to capture little ones throughout their first year of life as they change so quickly. Ask us about our special “1st year” package for babies that consists of four shoots within the year and a priceless storybook album to display the images in.
I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance. Lynne and Brendan had a romantic evening wedding at Hatley Castle. There is something so timeless and magical about getting married in a castle! The day was full of laughter and good tears. All the best, L&B and thanks for having us a part of your wedding day!
I flew to Bella Bella yesterday to witness and photograph the Joint Review Panel Hearings being held there for Enbridge’s Northern Gateway Pipeline. Sharing my flight were the panel members as well as Heiltsuk’s high ranking Chief Woyala. The community came to the airport to greet their chief and to stand in solidarity against the pipeline. The demonstration was powerful, respectful, and peaceful. The panel members were taken in a van from the airport into town and over to a resort called Shearwater.
