I had a shoot last year around this time with Dr.S the dentist who worked it for the camera (he definitley picked up some tips from Tyra when his daughter was watching ANTM).  Some people just have that camera zen, that ease with themselves that makes for spectacular images. I can vouch that this family has that quality in at least two of its generations. Dean gave his daughter Taryl a gift certficate for a portrait session and here is how the gorgeous girl rocked it:

Studio 16 1/2-the Premier Portrait Project: a part of “The Art of Voting”

Just wanted to let you know about another show coming up. As part of Studio 16 1/2’s Premier Portrait Project, I did a rendition of Harlan Carey Brewster (the premier who, among other things, brought in women’s suffrage and prohibition in 1917).  The show runs from May.2nd, 2009 – May. 31, 2009 with the opening on May.2nd at 8pm.
