Stop Motion Photography
This is my first attempt at stop motion photography. It was a blast and I’m already plotting our next adventure. It’s all a learning process but I thought I’d share the journey with you!

We just got back from a GORGEOUS wedding in Naramata. I was really excited to have Anna back shooting with me for the wedding as her law studies have kept her from shooting so far this year and I’ve been missing her energy and great eye. When we arrived at the location we felt like kids in a candy shop…the spectacular arid cliffs, the stunning blue water and a venue that was a gem! It was the kind of location that photographers dream of! The scenery was nothing though compared to the magic that was so evident between Dom & Robyn. There…

Lisa and Nathan’s wedding was such a perfect blend of elegance, sophistication, intimacy and serenity. They were married at Fairholme Manor which was an ideal location for their small, private wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and the interior of the heritage house is a photographer’s dream. Lisa’s Maid of Honour (and sister) created the brilliant floral arrangements. The reception was at one of my favorite restaurants in town, Camille’s. The food, which is organic and sourced as locally as possible, is to die for. Every bite is a little piece of heaven. Lisa & Nathan, thank you so much for…
I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them. Props to them for giving 100% commitment to their performance. They were a little over-concerned about burning their name into our brains but they were fairly clever and funny about it which made it forgivable. There…
My little buddy Nolan came for a visit the other day. I can’t help but pick up the camera when he is around. He is just so gosh darn cute! He probably recognizes my camera more readily than he does me 😉
This family was such a joy to shoot. I adore it when love transfers so well onto “film”. The boys were so sweet and full of life! Check out this precious love:
