I flew to Bella Bella yesterday to witness and photograph the Joint Review Panel Hearings being held there for Enbridge’s Northern Gateway Pipeline. Sharing my flight were the panel members as well as Heiltsuk’s high ranking Chief Woyala. The community came to the airport to greet their chief and to stand in solidarity against the pipeline. Tracy and Jonathon are a lovely couple that are getting married this coming May. I am really excited about photographing their big day. We just got together to shoot their engagement session down at Cattle Point. The day was REALLY windy and cold but we stuck it out and got some great images. Here are some from the adventure:

Lilie’s parents love spending time on the beach and in the waves and I wanted to capture them in their element. It is always so nice to get out of town and head up our gorgeous coast. Three cheers for beach time!

The difference between shooting musicians in the dawn of their career and those that are really well known is access (obviously). I adore shooting the smaller gigs as you have a lot of freedom to roam, time to get into the groove and, in…
The stunning couple got married under skies of endless blue. Half the wedding party travelled from the other side of the world to be here on this special day. What a blast it was. Congratulations Shelly & Blair! Jenny and Vanessa from Verbena Floral Design did an amazing job on the flowers. I highly recommend them as their creativity and flair guarantee works of floral art!!
