Heartbreakers

This was a really fun shoot. The old motorcycle that Graden is riding used to be ridden by his father 32 years ago. With that in mind I went with a a bit of a vintage look on a lot of the photos. Graden sure is a looker, especially with that little page boy cap. So cute! The last few frames are of his adorable cousin ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • A memorable photo shoot with a stunning couple.

I was immediately intrigued when I got a fantastic call from a man named Andrew. He wanted me to go stealth and photograph him proposing to his beautiful (unsuspecting) girlfriend. After the proposal I would come out of hiding to do a photo shoot for a couple hours. He is super romantic and he wanted an over-the-top amazing place for it all to happen. Hatley Castle was just that. Lots of secretive plotting ensued. Really, he had me at stealth ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thank you Andrew & Vicky for allowing us to document such an incredibly intimate and awesome day ๐Ÿ˜‰ You…

  • Gitga’at Rally to protest the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline.

It was so moving being up at the rally in Prince Rupert and seeing community come together with such solidarity against the Enbridge pipeline. Many remote and coastal communities depend directly on the lands and waters for their food, livelihood, and cultural practices. If there was a spill in the area, it would not just be an inconvenience, it would completely desecrate the way of life for thousands of people, not to mention sealife and wildlife. In opposing the pipeline, these communities are fighting for their lives. One of the reasons I feel so strongly about getting personally involved as…

  • Lisa & Nathan’s Wedding

Lisa and Nathan’s wedding was such a perfect blend of elegance, sophistication, intimacy and serenity. They were married at Fairholme Manor which was an ideal location for their small, private wedding. The grounds are gorgeous and the interior of the heritage house is a photographer’s dream. Lisa’s Maid of Honour (and sister) created the brilliant floral arrangements. The reception was at one of my favorite restaurants in town, Camille’s. The food, which is organic and sourced as locally as possible, is to die for. Every bite is a little piece of heaven. Lisa & Nathan, thank you so much for…

  • Tracy & Jonathon- Victoria, BC Wedding Photo Gallery by Keri Coles Photography

Tracy & Jonathon’s wedding was a stunning event held at the Olympic View Golf Course. The course gave the gift of incredible backdrops and we zipped down to Whitty’s Lagoon to get someย ocean shots as well. Tracy and Jonathon are just a dream to work with and they have raised one of the most amazing young ladies I have ever met. Thanks so much for welcoming us into your wedding day T & J!

  • 65 Red Roses – a benefit concert for cystic fibrosis

I first heard of Eva through a friend of mine that directed me toward her blog. Eva documented her battle with cystic fibrosis with such heart and such grace that the world fell in love with her. Eva touched so many people and brought such energy and determination to the fight against CF that support has proliferated since her courageous battle came to an end last March. I attended a benefit concert on Feb.13th that was in honour of Eva. Many of the bands that performed had a personal connection with Eva which made the event extra moving. When I…

  • Headshots with Lizzy

I love doing headshot portraits outside in natural light. I find the variety in backgrounds is far more interesting than what I have in the studio. All of these images were created within a one block radius but result in lots of different options to choose from.
