    I was pretty excited about heading down to Lucky bar to photograph Anti-Pop Consortium. I had heard lots of great stuff about them and their lyrics and sound are brilliant. The show was great but to be honest I was a little distracted by the fact that my camera loved them 😉 The first images are of TBA (Truth Becomes Audio) who opened for them.     Ice Watch Paris. Jet lag had me wandering the streets of Paris last night in the wee hours of the morning. I had heard rumors of an Arctic ice installation somewhere in Paris but I wasn’t sure where it was. As I rounded the corner to Place du Panthéon I almost started to cry.     I had a couple incredibly brilliant work trips this year: a ship tour with Greenpeace and a trip to Paris to cover the UN Climate Conference. In contrast to some years past, it was a fairly uplifting year to be doing environmental work in Canada (Shell pulled out of the Arctic, Canada got a new government, Northern Gateway was killed, and the Paris Climate talks are being lauded by most as a success).     What an incredible shoot it was with Keira & Tegan. So much love and laughter. The light was beautiful as the sun headed towards the horizon on this hot summer evening. I feel so fortunate when I get to photograph the raw and vibrant love that exists between a parent and child. Thank you, Keira & Tegan, for allowing me into your wondrous world and for the beer on the sun-kissed deck afterwards 😉

    The stunning couple got married under skies of endless blue. Half the wedding party travelled from the other side of the world to be here on this special day. What a blast it was.
